Review: Coco Anejo

"We start with our Imperial Milk Stout - Fur Slipper; Silky smooth with notes of roasted hazelnut, dark chocolate and toffee and then aged on Roasted Coconut. Mind blowing coconut infusion!"

Before I moved back to Louisiana from Dallas, I made a deal with my good friend Victor. I traded him a bass fishing rod for some craft beers. At the time I didn't know some of my favorite beers of all time would come from this deal. While we were at Kroger Victor noticed the Coco Anejo and told me to try it and let him know. Needless to say, it instantly became one of my favorite non-barrel aged imperials. Cheers to friendship and great beer.

Hop Fusion's Coco Anejo blends the flavors of coconut and dark chocolate to perfection. You will certainly not notice the near 9% ABV but will savor every sip of this beer's complex flavor profile. Pouring will give you a thick tan head and a dark body. This is a beer to pour on a Sunday afternoon while enjoying a moment to appreciate life's simple blessings.
