Belgian Golden Strong

This was a beer from our first beer drop. A member of our team actually visited this brewery in Colorado very recently. With this in mind, we had good expectations for this Belgian Gold.
This beer is a year-round beer available in the classic 6 pack. To our knowledge, Pikes Peak does not distribute very far out of its home region. This is where beer drop-style subscriptions shine.
Pours a nice golden color out of the can, with a half-inch thick head. The aroma is slightly funky but still sweet, maybe fruity. Taste is wheaty, holding true to the style of Belgians.
There was not a lot of complexity going on with this one, but still worth a try. If you are in the Denver area we recommend ordering a pint. We wouldn't really recommend ordering online unless you love Belgians.
